We apologize in advance for any glitches you may experience in the next couple of days while we complete the transition.

Fast Facts

Fawns are born early June. Come see how tiny they are. “Bottle times” and “Treat Times” are scheduled in June, July and August.

Our deer do not drop their antlers until Feb, March and April. Our last buck always sheds his antlers around April 15th.

About Us

We have been here for 20 years, and we are on our third generation of deer in our deer family. We are a place to pet and feed the deer and learn all about them.

This is not a hunting ranch.
We hope you will enjoy bringing  your dear family to visit our deer family.

Planning a Visit to Cook Forest??

Come observe and photograph whitetail deer in their natural habitat! Visit our covered walkways and observation deck. Our facility is handicap accessible.

Admission

We have a general admission, which covers seeing the live deer AND the Buck Barn wildlife museum. Now customers don't have to choose - they can visit both the live deer AND our museum, for one low price. With hand stamp you may come back as many times as you wish in one day. Admission is good all day with hand stamp!

Note that to keep our rates low, we do NOT accept credit cards!

To access current prices and stay up to date with "treat times", visit our news page.
