Rudy our 12 and 1/2 year old white buck has passed away. Rudy died of complications after having surgery on his back right hoof. He had been having a problem with this foot for several years. And had surgery done 2 other times. He got a growth on it that pinched the top of his foot and caused pain. Each time the growth of hard hoof was removed it grew back again. This time he did not do well with the anesthetic. Dr. Shields performed surgery January 1 and we lost Rudy on January 2. He was the son of Donner and daughter of Snowflake. Both have passed away. His daughter Tweety survives and is our most popular deer on the ranch.
